The CO2 Performance Ladder is an instrument that helps organisations reduce their carbon emissions in the organisation, in projects and in the business sector. The Ladder’s main objective is to stimulate organisations to gain insights in their CO2 emissions, and to continuously seek opportunities to cut back these emissions. LUMIGUIDE is proud to have been certified at the highest level.
CO2 Performance Ladder
CO2 reduction
Corporate sustainability is a high priority at LUMIGUIDE. The CO₂ performance ladder plays an important role in this. By creating a footprint, it becomes clear how much CO₂ is produced annually. It also reveals our main sources of CO₂. By drawing up an energy plan, the possibilities for CO₂ reduction are examined.
Level 5 & Club of 49
LUMIGUIDE was certified for CO₂ performance ladder level 5 in January 2015. The certificate was issued 15 January 2015. In subsequent years, we have maintained this level. For level 3 (and above), we participate in a sector initiative. In 2019, LUMIGUIDE joined the Club of 49, a network of companies actively working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 49% by 2030. Members of the Club exchange knowledge and experiences and explore how this 49% reduction can also be translated into the value chain.
